Meet the World's Youngest Apple IIGS Programmer

Meet the World's Youngest Apple IIGS Programmer

Lim Ding Wen, a Malaysian living in Singapore, is a 9-year-old iPhone developer. His app, Doodle Kids, has been approved by Apple and is currently available for free download through the iTunes App Store. The app was originally developed for the Apple IIGS and was ported to the iPhone for more kids to enjoy..

He started learning to write code at age 7 and is probably the world’s youngest Apple IIGS programmer. Ding Wen is now an ActionScript and JavaScript programmer. He is also said to understand Applesoft BASIC, GSoft BASIC, Complete Pascal, Orca/Pascal and a little Objective-C.
