World's tiniest species of chameleon

This is the world's tiniest species of chameleon, Brookesia micra. Discovered in February on a small island off Madagascar, scientists found the mini lizard, which can perch on a match head, with three other small chameleon species. Adult males grow to only just over 16 millimetres from top to tail, making them one of the smallest vertebrates ever found on Earth.
