This
is the world's tiniest species of chameleon, Brookesia micra.
Discovered in February on a small island off Madagascar, scientists
found the mini lizard, which can perch on a match head, with three other
small chameleon species. Adult males grow to only just over 16
millimetres from top to tail, making them one of the smallest
vertebrates ever found on Earth.
